What happened

Lidl US is recalling Silvercrest brand bread makers because the lid can become energized, creating an electric shock hazard. The affected bread makers are rectangular shaped white and silver appliances with an electronic display, buttons, and a top lid. They can be identified by one of three IAN numbers—319996, 304926, or 295433—printed on a sticker on the bottom of the machine and on the packaging, along with corresponding UPC codes 4056232629744, 4251127311401, or 4251127307961.

Consumers who own an affected bread maker should immediately unplug it and stop using it. The product should be returned to the nearest Lidl store for a full refund.
