The affected chairs were manufactured between April 2019 and September 2019 and come in five collections: Brennon, Corinne, Devon, Emille, and Hourglass, each available in multiple colors and model numbers. Consumers can identify recalled chairs by checking the label on the underside of the seat, which displays the Pier 1 name, model number, and manufacture date in MMYYYY format.
Consumers who own a recalled chair should stop using it immediately and contact Pier 1 to receive a free repair kit, which includes shipping.

This recall involves five collections of Pier 1 upholstered swivel desk chairs. The adjustable chairs have a base with five wheels and were sold in various colors. Pier 1, China, the model number and the manufacture date code in MMYYYY format are printed on a label located on the underside of the seats. They were manufactured from April 2019 through September 2019.
