Is my product affected?

GNC Women's Ultra Mega®, Ultra Mega Active, Ultra Mega Energy and Metabolism, and GNC Prenatal Formula with Iron multivitamins

  • Brand General Nutrition Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

GNC is recalling four types of women's multivitamin products because they contain iron but do not have child-resistant packaging as required by federal law. The recalled products are GNC Women's Ultra Mega (28-count and 180-count), GNC Women's Ultra Mega Energy and Metabolism (90-count), and GNC Prenatal Formula with Iron (120-count). If a child ingests these vitamins, they could suffer serious injury or death. You can identify affected bottles by their white plastic construction with white labels and flip-top caps, and by checking the lot numbers printed on the side of the bottle or bottom of the packaging against the specific lot numbers listed in the recall.

According to the record, consumers should keep these products away from children and return them to the GNC store where they were purchased in exchange for either a replacement bottle or a refund.
