Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
DeWALT is recalling the DWD110 and DWD112 3/8-inch variable speed reversing drills because the drill's wiring can contact internal moving parts, creating a shock hazard. The recalled drills are yellow with black accents and have a power cable connected at one end. Only drills manufactured between date codes 2017-37-FY through 2018-22-FY are affected. Drills marked with an "X" after the date code have already been inspected and are not part of this recall. The model number appears on a label on the right side of the drill, and the date code is etched into the body below the label.
According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the affected drills and contact DeWALT to schedule a free inspection and repair. Consumers whose drill does not have a date code or who cannot locate it should also contact the company.
