What happened

HoMedics is recalling the MyBaby Comfort Creatures Giraffe Portable & Bedside Nightlight, model MYB-N100GIR, because small feet on the giraffe-shaped nightlight can detach and pose a choking hazard to small children. The recalled nightlights have date codes GP230118 or GP290318, which can be found on the underside of the product. The nightlight is yellow with brown spots and a white underbelly, measures approximately 3 inches long by 5 inches wide by 7 inches high, and weighs less than 1 pound. It can be powered by an AC adaptor or two AA batteries.

Consumers who have this nightlight should immediately stop using it and contact HoMedics for a full refund.
