What happened

Spirit Halloween is recalling Nickelodeon PAW PATROL Marshall Hats that were sold with flashlight accessories because the batteries in the flashlight can overheat, causing the flashlight to become hot and creating burn and fire hazards. The recalled items are red hats with yellow ribbon, black and white spotted dog ears, and a black flashlight attached to the side. Only flashlights with SKU 01292093 and date codes 1703RY01, 1603RY01, or 1503RY01 are affected; the SKU and date code can be found on the sewn-in label under the ear of the hat.

Consumers who have this product should immediately take the flashlight away from children, stop using it, remove the batteries, and dispose of the flashlight. They should then contact Spirit Halloween for a full refund and will need to provide a photo of the tag located under the ear in the hat.
