Husqvarna Professional Products is recalling Poulan Pro gas-powered generators designed for residential use due to a fire hazard. The carburetor in the affected models can fail and allow gasoline to leak, creating a fire risk. The recall affects models PP4300, PP6600, PP6600E, and PP7600E with all serial numbers. These black and marigold-colored generators measure 21.5" H x 26.6" L x 21.3" W, produce 4.4 to 7.6 KW of power, and feature two handles and two wheels. The model number can be found on the Serial Number Plate located on the front of the fuel tank.
Consumers who own an affected generator should immediately stop using it and contact Husqvarna to arrange a free repair.
