Husqvarna has recalled certain grass and hedge trimmers due to a fire hazard. The Grass Trimmer Model 122C and Hedge Trimmer Models 122HD60 and 122HD45, all with serial numbers between 2011 17 00001 and 2011 52 99999, are affected. Fuel can leak from the rubber spacer that holds the fuel lines in the fuel tank, creating a fire risk. You can identify the model number on top of the tool and find the serial number on a black plate located on the bottom of the muffler side (for the grass trimmer) or on the gear box in the lower portion (for the hedge trimmers).
Consumers who own these recalled products should immediately stop using them and return them to the place of purchase for a free repair.
