What happened

Go Wheels self-balancing scooters, also known as hoverboards, are being recalled due to a fire and explosion hazard. The lithium-ion battery packs in these products can overheat, which may cause the hoverboards to smoke, catch fire, and/or explode. The recalled hoverboards feature two wheels at either end of a platform and have "Go Wheel" printed in a circle on the middle of the unit where the sides connect; this identification illuminates when powered on. The products were sold in black, white, red, blue, gold, and pink colors exclusively at Village Mart.
