DICK's Sporting Goods is recalling Fitness Gear resistance tubes because the latex tubes can break during use and strike the user, creating an injury risk. The recalled tubes were sold in multiple colors (blue, gray, green, orange, purple, and red) with gray handles, in resistance levels ranging from 5 to 30 pounds, either individually or in kits of three, four, or five tubes. The resistance level is marked on the black strap between the handle and tube. The recalled model numbers are STA00560, STA00561, STA00562, STA00563, STA00564, STA00565, STA00566, STA00567, and STA00568.
Consumers who own these resistance tubes should immediately stop using them and return them to the nearest DICK's Sporting Goods store. Customers with a receipt will receive a full refund, while those without a receipt will receive store credit.
