GENERAL recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs)
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Polaris has recalled all model year 2017 GENERAL Base and GENERAL Hunter two-seat, side-by-side recreational off-highway vehicles. The GENERAL Base models are red, while the GENERAL Hunter models are camouflage-colored. These vehicles are identifiable by "Polaris" printed on the front grill, "GENERAL" on the rear panel, and "1000" on the front panel, with the VIN located on the left rear vehicle frame below the cargo box. The recall affects these vehicles because inconsistent tire pressure information on the vehicles can result in improperly-inflated tires, which poses a crash hazard.
According to the recall notice, consumers with affected vehicles should immediately stop using them and contact Polaris to receive a new tire pressure label and an addendum to the owner's manual. Polaris states that all known purchasers are being contacted directly by the company.
