Is my product affected?

TriggerTech Carbide crossbow and rifle triggers

  • Brand TriggerTech, of Mississauga, Canada

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

TriggerTech is recalling carbide triggers used in crossbows and rifles because the rollers on these triggers can crack, which may cause the weapon to discharge without the trigger being activated. This poses an injury hazard to the user or anyone nearby. The recall affects TriggerTech carbide triggers including the Rem 700, AR15, Excalibur, Mission, Killer Instinct, and Parker Crossbow Triggers. Consumers can identify recalled products by checking the model number and serial number or date code located on the side of Rem 700 and AR15 triggers, or on the bottom of the crossbow triggers.

According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately stop using the recalled triggers and contact TriggerTech for a free replacement trigger with stainless steel rollers. TriggerTech will provide a full refund instead of a replacement if the recalled trigger model has been discontinued.
