SmartPool is recalling PE12 PoolEye submersible swimming pool alarms for aboveground pools because the ON/OFF activation switch on the alarm is reversed. This defect can prevent the alarm from alerting consumers if a child enters the water. The recalled alarm consists of a gray submersible unit with two components: a sensor tube with a float switch that sits underwater and an audible sensor mounted outside the pool. The product can be identified by "PoolEye" printed on the front of the siren, "PE12" on the manual, and UPC code 628208165125 on the packaging.
