What happened

Lorex is recalling Care 'N' Share video baby monitors with model numbers WL3520, WL4320, and WL3401 due to a burn hazard. The monitors contain blue lithium polymer batteries that can overheat, swell, and expand, potentially causing the battery cover to open or detach and expose hot batteries to consumers.

The affected monitors measure approximately 4 inches tall by 5 inches wide, have a white plastic back with either a white or black border, and display "LOREX" or "The Lorex Baby" text below the screen. The model number can be found printed on the back panel. According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately stop using the recalled monitors and contact Lorex to receive a full refund.

Hazard
