What happened

Nestlé Waters North America is recalling AccuPure countertop water filtration dispensers (model HCB215n) due to a fire and burn hazard. The black dispensers, which measure approximately 17.5 inches tall and 12.8 inches wide and connect to plumbing to filter and dispense hot and cold water, can overheat and cause internal parts to melt and produce smoke.

Consumers who own affected units should immediately unplug the dispensers and stop using them. Nestlé Waters is contacting affected customers directly to arrange free replacement unit installation. Customers with questions should contact Nestlé Waters.
