What happened

October Mountain Products is recalling OMP M-100 digital hanging bow scales, which are used to measure weight in archery and bow hunting. The orange plastic scales are portable, measuring approximately 8 inches long by 4 inches wide by 1.2 inches deep, and feature three buttons on the front, a hook on one end, and a metal ring on the other end. The mounting ring on these scales can break during use, creating impact and laceration hazards to the person using them.

Consumers who own the recalled M-100 scales should immediately stop using them and contact October Mountain Products to receive a full refund.
