Box Components is recalling carbon fiber BMX bicycle forks due to a hazard where the steer tube can become loose in the crown of the fork, which may cause riders to fall. The recalled forks are black with "BOX" printed in white on the side and include models XE and XL in 20-inch and 24-inch sizes with 10 mm specifications. The affected forks have one of three serial numbers printed above the crown: 140508, 140606, or 140702.

Consumers who own these recalled forks should immediately stop using them. According to the recall, affected consumers should contact Box Components for a free replacement bicycle fork.
