What happened

Swix Sport USA is recalling Uvex Funride ski helmets in adult sizes XS-M and L-XL because they do not provide sufficient shock absorption and resistance to penetration, creating a risk of head injury. The helmets have a rear dial for size adjustment, chin strap, and ear protection, with "Uvex" printed toward the back. Affected helmets have interior labels marked "S-58B" or "S-58C" and come in solid colors (black, white, or silver), carbon look matte finishes (white or black), or golden flower decals (white or black).

Consumers who own these helmets should stop using them immediately and return the product to the store where it was purchased for either a full refund or store credit.
