TwinGo Recalls Baby Carriers Due to Fall Hazard

What happened

TwinGo is recalling its Original Carrier, an infant carrier designed to hold one or two babies weighing 10 to 45 pounds against the caregiver's body at the waist. The recall affects carriers with batch numbers 23014024003, 01515026003, or 21615019001, which are printed on labels sewn to the waistband. These carriers have black fabric on the outside with either blue or orange fabric on the inside. The waist buckle on these carriers can break, which poses a fall hazard to children being carried.

Consumers who own a recalled TwinGo Original Carrier should immediately stop using the carrier and contact TwinGo for a free repair kit that includes a replacement buckle and instructions for installation. A repair video is also available at http://twingocarrier.com/pages/repairkit.

The TwinGo Original Carrier is an infant carrier designed to carry one or two babies against the caregiver's body at the waist. It is intended for babies that are from 10 to 45 pounds. "TwinGo" is printed on a label located on the front of the carrier and an 11-digit batch number is printed on a label sewn to the waistband. Batch numbers included in this recall: 23014024003, 01515026003, and 21615019001. They were sold in fabric that is black on the outside and blue or orange on the inside.
