Grosfillex is recalling its Havana commercial side chairs and armless bar stools because the backrest can crack and detach, creating a fall hazard. The recalled products are high-backed chairs and stools with woven plastic wicker seats and backs, aluminum legs, and "Grosfillex" or "CE # 2194" molded on the underside of the seat. The side chairs are approximately 35 ½ inches tall by 18 ½ inches wide and 22 inches deep, while the bar stools are approximately 45 ½ inches tall by 20 inches wide and 24 inches deep. The products were sold in charcoal, espresso, tobacco, and white colors.
Consumers who have these chairs or stools should immediately stop using them. Those with products under the three-year warranty should contact Grosfillex for free replacements, while those with products no longer under warranty can contact Grosfillex for a product voucher.
