Gamewell-FCI Recalls Fire Alarm Panels Due to Failure to Alert of a Fire, Smoke or CO

Is my product affected?

Gamewell-FCI fire alarm panels (ILI-MB-E3 and ILI-S-E3)

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Gamewell-FCI is recalling ILI-MB-E3 and ILI-S-E3 fire alarm panels installed in commercial buildings. The panels can become non-responsive under certain configurations, which would prevent connected detectors from detecting and responding to fires, smoke, or carbon monoxide alarms. The issue occurs only when a Signaling Line Circuit includes at least two specific detector types (Acclimate, 4-Warn, Photo/CO, or iFAAST) addressed within the same FlashScan polling group.

Affected consumers should immediately contact their distributor to obtain a free firmware upgrade to repair the panels. The record does not specify additional details about contacting the distributor or what identifying information may be needed.
