The recalled adapters can break and expose metal portions, creating an electric shock hazard. These adapters were sold both as standalone kits and bundled with Mac computers and iOS devices. The white plastic adapters are identifiable by their design for specific regions: flat angled blades for Australia/New Zealand/Argentina, round thin pins for Brazil and Continental Europe, and round thick pins for Korea. Recalled models have either four or five letters or numbers, or no markings on the inside slot where they attach to the main power adapter, while newer versions display a three-letter regional code (EUR, ARG, KOR, AUS, or BRA).
