What happened

Eastwood is recalling Rockwood portable power packs equipped with lithium ion batteries and cables. These black plastic devices, measuring approximately 6 inches long by 3 inches wide by 1 inch tall, are designed to charge electronic devices and car batteries and include a recessed LED flashlight. The power packs can be identified by "Rockwood" printed in white on the top, a yellow and white danger label on the bottom, and item number 30554 on the packaging. The lithium ion batteries in these power packs can burst during charging, creating a fire hazard.

Consumers who own a recalled power pack should immediately stop using it. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should return their power packs to Eastwood for a full refund.
