What happened

Tristar Products is recalling AquaRug shower rugs because the four suction cups on the underside can fail to prevent the rugs from slipping, creating a fall hazard. The recalled rugs come in beige and clear colors and are available in two sizes: 29.5 by 17.25 inches for bathtubs and 21.75 by 19.75 inches for shower stalls. The rugs have a plastic border with one plastic suction cup attached to each corner on the underside, and the packaging displays "AquaRug" and "As Seen On TV."

Consumers who have these rugs should stop using them immediately and contact Tristar Products for disposal instructions and to receive a free replacement rug.
