Belle Investment is recalling Richie House boys' jackets due to drawstrings that can become entangled or caught on playground equipment, hand rails, school bus doors, and other moving objects, creating a strangulation and entanglement hazard to children. The recall involves two styles: a striped red and purple hooded jacket (model RH1045C, sizes 4-7 and 9-10) with a drawstring in the hood and crest-shaped emblem, and padded jackets in brown, dark green, or red (model RH1332-B or RH1332-C, sizes 2T-5) with a white drawstring at the bottom and round emblem on the front.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from both the hood and bottom of the recalled jackets. After removing the drawstrings, consumers should contact Richie House for instructions on how to receive a full refund.

The jackets have drawstrings in the hood and at the bottom, which pose an entrapment hazard to children. Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation and/or entanglement hazard to children.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the hood and the bottom of the recalled jackets to eliminate the hazard and contact Richie House for instructions to receive a full refund.
This recall involves two styles of Richie House boys' hooded jackets. The striped red and purple jacket comes with a drawstring in the hood, and has a crest-shaped emblem sewn onto the front of it. It was sold in sizes: 4-7 and 9-10. The model number is RH1045C. The polyester and cotton padded jackets were sold in brown, dark green and red, and have a white drawstring located at the bottom. The jackets have a round emblem sewn onto the front and were sold in sizes 2T-5. The model number is RH1332-B or RH1332-C and is printed on the care label. "Richie House" is also printed on a label sewn into the neck of the coat.
