Polaris Recalls RZR Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

Is my product affected?

Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROV)

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Polaris is recalling certain 2015 model year RZR recreational off-highway vehicles because the fuel tank vent line can be misrouted and become pinched. When this occurs, the fuel tank pressurizes and leaks fuel, creating a fire hazard. The recalled models include the RZR 900, RZR S 900, RZR 900 XC, RZR 4 900, RZR XP 1000, and RZR XP4 1000. Specific vehicles are identified by Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ranges, and not all VINs within those ranges are affected. The VIN can be found on the driver's side rear frame tube behind the PVT cover.

Consumers who own affected vehicles should immediately stop using them and contact their local Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting registered owners directly with recall letters. A complete list of recalled vehicles including all affected VINs is available at www.polaris.com.
