What happened

Positec Tool is recalling Worx brand electric blower/vacs due to a shock hazard. The recalled units have reversed grounded and ungrounded wiring that could expose consumers to electrical shock. The affected blower/vacs are black, measure 11 inches high by 19.5 inches long, and display the Worx logo on the motor housing. Only Model WG507 units are involved, specifically those with serial numbers in these ranges: 201418000134 through 201418018263, 201418018268 through 201418021382, and 201511000379 through 201511001397.

According to the recall notice, consumers who own affected blower/vacs should immediately stop using them and return the product to the place of purchase for either a replacement or a full refund.
