Rocky Brands is recalling 16-inch tall rubber hunting boots sold under the Rocky brand name because the snake guard can fail to protect the wearer's feet from a snake bite. The recalled boots feature a camouflage pattern on the outside of the shaft and foot, with a white label inside the shaft showing the Rocky logo, product number RKYS153, a date code between 12-14 and 01-15 (in MM-YY format), and the text "Men's 16 Silent Hunter Snake Boot, Camo."
Consumers who have the recalled boots should stop wearing them immediately and contact Rocky Brands for either a full refund or a free pair of replacement snakebite-proof hunting boots in one of these models: Lynx Snake, Classic Lynx Snake, or Prolight Snake (available in lace-up, pull-on, or side-zip styles).
