Lennox Hearth Products is recalling natural gas log set burner assemblies sold under model numbers LSVFSD-18, LSVFSD-24, LSVFSD-30, and LSVFSD-NG. The recalled burners have serial numbers beginning with 6407, 6408, 6409, and 6410A through 6410G, which can be found on a metal identification plate attached to the burner. These products are used in wood-burning fireplaces or ventless firebox enclosures and include a burner and ceramic-fiber log set.
A crack can develop at the gas valve connection in these burner assemblies, causing natural gas to leak while in use and posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately stop using the recalled burner assemblies and contact Lennox to arrange for a free replacement burner.
