Dragonfly II Mosquito Traps and NightWatch Bed Bug Monitors
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
BioSensory is recalling two pest control products due to a hazard involving carbon dioxide pressure sensors. The Dragonfly II Mosquito Trap (Model 503) and NightWatch Bedbug Monitor (Model 506) contain CO2 pressure sensors that can crack, leak, or burst. When these sensors fail, they can release CO2 that creates sharp cracks with jagged edges capable of cutting a consumer's hand, or the direct discharge of CO2 can cause a frostbite-like burn injury to skin. The Dragonfly II is a tall cylindrical unit measuring about 36 inches high and 8 inches in diameter with a black, silver, and dark graphite finish. The NightWatch is a white plastic unit measuring 14 inches long and 6 inches high with black and white striped thermal lure and detachable pitfalls on either sides.
Consumers who own a recalled Dragonfly II should stop using it immediately and contact Frontgate to receive a replacement unit. Professional pest control operators who purchased the NightWatch from Residex or Forshaw Distribution should immediately take their units out of service and return them to their distributor center for replacement. The source does not specify what consumers who purchased NightWatch units through other retailers should do.
