Is my product affected?

H2O Mop Steam Cleaners

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

The H2O Mop, an electrically-powered steam cleaner manufactured by Thane International, is being recalled due to a hazard involving its power cord. The power cord can unexpectedly wear down and expose the internal wiring, which poses both shock and burn hazards to consumers. The recalled units are white with a purple water tank and bear the "H2O" and "M" symbol on the cleaning head. Model numbers 808.092 and OEM-TV-001 are affected, but only those with specific reference numbers printed on the back label—ranging from 200709198 to 200803148 or H20M1000 to M-H20M1198—are included in this recall.

Since Thane International is no longer in business, no remedy or replacement is available. Consumers who own an affected H2O Mop should destroy and discard the recalled product.
