What happened

LEM Products is recalling 5-tray and 10-tray food dehydrators due to a fire hazard. The screws that secure the motor to the back panel can become loose, causing the motor to fall onto the heating element and potentially start a fire. Consumers can identify their unit by locating the serial number on the label on the back panel or by checking the UPC code on the packaging, which ends in "1009 1" for 5-tray models or "1010 7" for 10-tray models.
