Sevylor® Tow Behinds with Quick Hitch Connectors

Sevca LLC is recalling Sevylor Tow Behinds equipped with Quick Hitch connectors that were manufactured between 2005 and 2009. The Quick Hitch component, which connects the towable to the boat, can break and send plastic pieces back toward the boat, potentially striking and seriously injuring users. The recall affects multiple Sevylor tow behind models including the Avenger, Daytona, Devil Ray, Double Threat, Drag'n Master, Flight Blaster, Le Biscuit, Raging Racer, Super Blaster, Triple Blaster, Triple Threat, Twin Blaster, Velocity Blaster, and Wake Zone.
Consumers who own recalled tow behinds should immediately stop using them and contact Sevca for instructions on removing the Quick Hitch and using the tow behind without it. Upon returning the Quick Hitch to Sevca, consumers will receive a 1-2 person tow rope as a replacement.

The Quick Hitch, which connects the towable to the boat, can break and project pieces of the plastic Quick Hitch back towards the boat. If this occurs, an individual can be struck and seriously injured.
Consumers should immediately stop using their recalled tow behinds and contact Sevca to receive instructions on how to remove the Quick Hitch from their tow behind and use the tow behind without the Quick Hitch. Consumers will receive a 1-2 person tow rope for returning the Quick Hitch.
