DEWALT D51825 and D51850 Framing Nailers
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
DEWALT is recalling certain framing nailers because the bump action trigger may have been incorrectly assembled during production. This defect could allow the nailer to fire unexpectedly or prevent the trigger lock-off from working properly, creating a serious risk of injury to users or bystanders.
The recall affects two models: the D51825 Clipped Head Framing Nailer and the D51850 Full Round Head Framing Nailer, but only those with date codes between 20080249 and 20082749. Nailers with a "T" after the date code or those still in original packaging with a green dot on the box are not affected. According to the recall record, affected consumers should immediately stop using the nailers and contact DEWALT for instructions on obtaining a free replacement bump action trigger.
