A consumer's hand can become caught between the cylindrical counter weight and the frame, which can cause lacerations and finger amputation. The recall affects machines with serial numbers PL21-9301-000 through PL21-9510-099, which are printed on the back of the weight stack frame on the lower right. The model number PL2100 appears on the exercise procedure label on the front of the machine.
