What happened

LaJobi is reannouncing a recall of "Molly" and "Betsy" style wooden cribs originally recalled in 2001. The cribs have cut-outs in the end panels that can allow young children to get their heads entrapped, posing a strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers. The "Molly" style cribs have solid wood end panels with openings on both sides, while the "Betsy" style cribs have wood slat end panels. Model numbers are printed inside the headboard at the bottom and include Molly models 0101327 in Natural, Antique Green, or Antique White, and Betsy models 0101257 in the same finishes.

According to the recall notice, consumers should stop using these cribs immediately and contact LaJobi to receive replacement end panels that eliminate the hazard.
