Coby Electronics is recalling rechargeable batteries sold with TF-DVD 1020 portable DVD/CD/MP3 players because the batteries can overheat and pose a fire hazard. The affected players are small laptop-sized devices with 10" swivel screens that have "COBY" written on the front cover and "TF-DVD 1020" on the bottom. The recalled batteries have specific serial numbers printed on white stickers attached to them, with serial number ranges beginning with designations like DG240043D503000001 through DG240115D702002500.
