By Us International Co. Ltd. has recalled bicycle forks installed on Mongoose S-20 and MGX S-20 mountain bicycles (orange) and Roadmaster Ridge Rider bicycles (red). The recalled forks are black with "BALLISTIC" and "105" decals on the suspension fork legs. The forks can break apart, which may cause riders to lose control and fall. The recall affects forks with specific serial numbers located on the inside of the suspension fork leg, including ranges from 98025001 through 98030000 and multiple series beginning with "BA" or "BAX."
Consumers who believe they own a recalled bicycle should immediately stop using it and contact the firm with their fork's serial number to determine if their bike is affected. Consumers with recalled forks will receive a free replacement fork and free installation at no cost.
