What happened

Worldwise Inc. is recalling SlyDog™ Retractable Dog Leashes because the metal clasp that connects the leash to a dog's collar can bend or break during use. When the clasp fails, the leash recoils suddenly, which can cause facial and body injuries to dog owners. The recalled leashes have a blue plastic handle with a black grip, a black woven strap approximately one-half inch wide, and a metal clasp at the end. SlyDog™ retractable leashes with a plastic clasp are not affected by this recall.

Consumers who own the recalled leashes should stop using them immediately and return them to Worldwise Inc. for a full refund, including shipping costs.

Hazard
