Petters Consumer Brands has recalled Sunbeam Over-the-Range microwave ovens due to a fire hazard caused by internal electrical arcing. The affected units are model SNM1501RAQ with serial numbers ranging from A0701161370000001 through A0701161370000304. These bisque-colored microwaves measure 16.25 inches high by 29.5 inches wide by 15 inches deep and were installed in mobile homes. The serial number can be found on the inside front of the microwave when the door is open.
Since Petters Consumer Brands is no longer in business, no remedy is available. According to the recall notice, affected consumers should discard or destroy the product.

This recall involves Sunbeam Over-the-Range microwave ovens with serial numbers within the range of A0701161370000001 through A0701161370000304.
