What happened

Payless ShoeSource is recalling certain children's clog shoes because plastic rivets that attach the strap to the shoe can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children. The recall affects character-themed clog styles including Dora the Explorer, Spongebob Squarepants, Hello Kitty, Coasters® Lighted Car Compel, and Cambridge Mary-Jane in toddler sizes 5 through 10. These flexible shoes have air ventilation holes on the top and/or side, and consumers can identify them by checking the size printed on the sole.

If you have purchased one of these recalled shoes, you should take them away from young children immediately and return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund or exchange.
