Dollar Days International is recalling children's parka jackets because they have a drawstring through the hood that poses a strangulation hazard to children. The jackets are available in seven color combinations including black with gray stripes, light blue with black stripes, gray with black stripes, navy blue with gray stripes, yellow with gray stripes, navy blue with white chest stripes, and black with white chest stripes. The jackets feature a zipper that goes up to the neck creating a mock turtleneck, a removable hood that attaches with a zipper, elastic at the sleeves, side pockets, and a drawstring at the waist.
According to the recall, consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the jackets to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may contact Dollar Days Customer Service for a refund or store credit.
