Playskool has voluntarily recalled its Team Talkin' Tool Bench, a 20-inch-tall plastic toy tool bench that includes a talking animated saw, drill, and vice along with toy accessories like a hammer, screwdriver, plastic screws, and plastic nails. The toy tool bench comes with two 3-inch plastic nails and pieces to build a toy plane. Two toddler deaths have occurred because the oversized plastic nails can become lodged in children's throats, creating a suffocation hazard.
Consumers who own this product should immediately remove the two toy nails from children's access and contact Playskool to return the nails. Upon return, consumers will receive a $50 certificate redeemable for any Playskool or related company product.
