What happened

Plastic bead bracelets, rings, and necklaces sold under the "Girl Favors" brand are being recalled because they can break and release small beads that pose an aspiration hazard to young children. The recalled products include smiley bead bracelets (item PF-1531), clear bead necklaces (PF-1532), clear bead bracelets and rings (PF-1533), power bead bracelets (PF-1536), heart necklaces (PF-1541), and ice cube bracelets (PF-1549). All of these items feature colored plastic beads strung on elastic.

According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately take these jewelry items away from children and either discard them or return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
