WaveCrest Laboratories is recalling specific front and rear wheels used in TidalForce S-750 High Performance Electric Bicycles because the wheels can collapse, which may cause the rider to fall and suffer injuries. The affected bicycles are capable of traveling up to 20 miles per hour and come in either Candy Apple Red or Silver Satin frames, identified by "TidalForce" and "S-750 High Performance Electric Bicycle" stickers. The front wheel assembly contains the battery and the rear wheel assembly contains the motor.
If you purchased a TidalForce S-750 High Performance Electric Bicycle, you should stop riding it immediately and contact WaveCrest Laboratories to determine if your bicycle is affected by checking your bicycle identification number against the recall list at www.tidalforce.com. The bicycle identification number can be found on a white bar-coded sticker on the seat tube of the frame, directly above the front derailleur clamp. WaveCrest Laboratories will replace affected wheels at no cost to the consumer.
