The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. have announced a recall of Ski-Doo snowmobiles from model years 2003 through 2005. The recalled models include the REV MX Z Renegade, REV MX Z X, GSX Limited, ZX Legend, ZX Grand Touring, and ZX Legend in various packages and configurations, identified by specific model numbers listed in the recall. The snowmobiles are available in multiple colors including black, blue, gray, white, yellow, and autumn/black.
The reason for the recall is that the throttle lever on these snowmobiles could become stuck, which would cause loss of speed control and could lead to a collision.
