Children's Coin Purse and Jewelry
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Daiso has recalled children's coin purses with rainbow stripes and children's jewelry (earrings, necklaces, and bracelets) with colored droplets in blue, pink, red, white, and yellow. The surface paint on the zippers of the coin purses and the clasps on the jewelry contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
The recalled items can be identified by specific text on their tags and packaging: "THE COIN PURSE" or "Mobile case COIN PUASE" appear on coin purse tags, while "Colorful Drop Accessory Bracelet," "Colorful Drop Accessory Pierce," or similar text appear on jewelry packaging. All items bear "Produced for Daiso Japan" on the tag or packaging. According to the recall, consumers should immediately take the recalled products away from children and contact Daiso for a full refund.
