The W.E. Bassett Company is recalling "Frosted Grip" eyelash curlers with pink-plastic handles sold under brand names including TRIM and Salon Plus. The plastic handles can detach during use, causing consumers to lose their grip and potentially suffer injuries to the eyes and face. The affected eyelash curlers were sold at retailers including Wal-Mart, CVS, Shopko, Rite Aid, and Kroger, and can be identified by item numbers 5-87B, 5-87RA, or 5-87S printed on the packaging.
Consumers who own these eyelash curlers should stop using them immediately and contact The W.E. Bassett Company for a prepaid mailer. The company will provide a free replacement eyelash curler and a $5 off coupon toward any TRIM product in exchange for returning the recalled item.
