Swing-N-Slide "Mega Rider" Swings
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
The CPSC and Swing-N-Slide have announced a recall of the "Mega Rider" swing, a blue plastic backyard playground swing designed for one or two children ages 2 to 10. The swing is suspended by four plastic-coated chains from a crossbeam, and children sitting back-to-back push in different directions to propel it. The plastic handle on the swing can crack at the seat connection, which could allow the metal connecting rod to pull out and cause a child to fall to the ground.
Consumers who own a Mega Rider swing should stop using it immediately and return it to Swing-N-Slide for a replacement product with increased material thickness. The company will provide consumers with a self-addressed box for returning the product.
