Safari Ltd. has recalled magnet games that contain small metal figures with paint exceeding federal lead standards for children's products. The affected products include Magnetic Butterfly Rainbow (Item No. 6652-16), Magnetic Frog Fantasy (Item No. 6653-16), and Magnetic Coral Reef Collage (Item No. 6654-16). Each game consists of a 2.5-inch black magnetic base with approximately 60 small metal figures shaped like butterflies, frogs, or fish. The packaging is triangular and labeled "Ages 7 to 70" with "SAFARI" and "MADE IN TAIWAN" markings. Prolonged exposure to the high levels of lead in the paint on these metal figures presents a lead poisoning hazard to young children.
According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the metal figures from the magnetic base and discard them.

The magnet games are made up of a black round base, measuring 2.5 inches in diameter, that is magnetic with about 60 small, multi-colored metal figures in the shape of butterflies, frogs or fish. "Made in Taiwan" is imprinted into the black base. Each unit is packaged in a triangle- shaped box with the following identification: Magnetic Butterfly Rainbow Item No. 6652-16, Magnetic Frog Fantasy - Item No. 6653-16, and Magnetic Coral Reef Collage - Item No. 6654-16. The boxes also are labeled in part: "Ages 7 to 70...SAFARI...MADE IN TAIWAN".
